After
that, I remember Ray coming over to me, Sharpie in hand, eager to sign
whatever I handed him. I took out the new CD and was trying to hurry
and get the insert booklet out. He kindly smiled and said, "Take
your time". He was so sweet and so handsome. Then Graeme signed
it and, at that point, I saw John coming toward me. We shook hands and,
once again, there was Maggie with her trusty camera. John and I put
our arms around each other and she took our picture. I told John
it was lovely to meet him - he smiled and added his signature to the CD.
He looked sexy in black pants and black t-shirt, and those green eyes are
something else up close.Next thing I knew, I looked around and everybody was gone, but me, Justin, and the gray-haired man. I was in my own little world - my own little stupor - standing there in the middle of the room just blown away by the whole experience. I thought, "I gotta go find Lila and Pat", then it hit me that I had forgotten to get Lila's special photo of Justin signed. I saw him heading for the curtain, and I said, "Justin, will you sign one more thing?" He stopped and took the photo - he kept making strokes with the pen, but not writing anything - guess he was trying to think where to sign it, as there was only a little room at the bottom. I told him to make it to Lila, L-I-L-A. Finally, he said, "Lila? L-I-L-A?" I said yep, and he signed it To Lila, Love Justin - didn't have enough room to write Hayward. As he was leaving, I thanked him and told him I appreciated it. He said thank you and left. I went to my seat absolutely floating. The gray-haired man showed me all the photos they signed for him. He was very nice, and I feel bad that I didn't get his name, or the other man's name who was backstage with us. It was the most wonderful evening, and I want to thank Maggie, Paula and Sue from the bottom of my heart for sharing their photos with me. I love you all! As for Justin, John, Ray and Graeme, it was absolute heaven being in that room with the 4 of them. To have listened to their wonderful music, watched them in countless videos, and just loved them so dearly - then to actually meet them, talk to them, touch them - it was my wildest dream come true, and I'm still "walking on air". |
